Join DMC for Parent University September 8 from 7-8 PM in the Great Room. Des Moines Christian School counselors will share age-appropriate mental health strategies used within the learning environment and discuss the supports available at school. 

 

Hilary Sheeks (Mental Health Counselor), from Heartland Christian Counseling, will also share parenting tips and strategies for the home that support children at each developmental phase who are struggling with mental health disorders such as anxiety or depression. Counselors will be on hand after the presentation to answer private questions from families. Parent University is open to the community.
