Welcome to Elementary School!
DMC Elementary serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. We are passionate about cultivating a love for learning and growing deep roots in our Christian faith. Elementary students experience opportunities for service, leadership, and hands-on learning.
Our talented faculty and staff consider it a privilege to walk alongside each student as they grow in their understanding of God’s truth displayed throughout each subject, discover how God has uniquely designed them for His glory, and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Equipping Minds
Through an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum, our students are equipped with the critical and creative thinking skills that will help them succeed. The Elementary curriculum prepares students for lifelong learning through a strong academic base, while fostering spiritual and social growth. Literacy skills are fostered through phonics-based reading and writing. Children grow in mathematics and experience a hands-on science program that allows them to investigate and explore. Students also enjoy specials classes in art, music, library and media center, physical education, and STEAM.
Nurturing Hearts
God’s Word is the foundation of our curriculum. Scripture is integrated into each subject, and the entire Elementary school experiences chapel together weekly. Students learn to be dynamic problem solvers and creative thinkers as they explore God’s creation, seek His truth, and grow in confidence of who God has made them to be.
Impacting the World for Christ
During their educational journey at DMC, we will be working together to help your child realize Our Portrait of a Graduate, which reflects our desire for graduates to be servant-hearted leaders, critical thinkers and effective communicators, accomplished learners and passionate apprentices of Christ. Teachers are purposeful in engaging students in meaningful service projects, which have included Soles for Jesus, care packages for chemotherapy patients, Operation Christmas Child, and more.
