DMC Swimmer Brings Home State Title

Congratulations to the DMC girls on their 2020 swim season. Izzy Osborne (’22) and Gianna Stasi (’24) competed at the State Swimming and Diving Meet in Marshalltown November 14.

Izzy Osborne and her Johnston teammates Abby Rastetter, Olivia Swalley, Brooklynn Kaster are state champions in the 200 Medley Relay, finishing with a time of 1:46.74, edging out Ames Community Schools by a mere 0.03 seconds. 

Des Moines Christian School has a cooperative sharing agreement with Johnston Community Schools that allows DMC students to compete on the Johnston swim team. The team placed fifth overall at the event.
