Des Moines Christian School Announces Heidi Lepley as Director of Admissions

Des Moines Christian School is pleased to announce Heidi Lepley as Director of Admissions. Heidi has served as Admissions Coordinator for the past year, establishing family and employee relationships and deepening her knowledge of the Admissions program. She worked in the DMC accounting office two years prior to joining the Admissions team. 

“I feel so fortunate to be a part of the DMC family, as a parent and an employee,” Heidi says. "It is rewarding to walk with families through their onboarding experience, and share the things I love most about DMC. As the Director of Admissions, I look forward to upholding our mission, and cultivating a culture that continues to honor God. There is something extra special about our community, and I look forward to bringing more energy and ideas to our team.”

Head of School Cade Lambert says, “As the Director of Admissions, Heidi fills a critical leadership position here at Des Moines Christian. In addition to welcoming prospective families to DMC for the first time, she has a vision to clearly communicate our mission and build a foundation for effective long-term partnerships with families. She begins this role at a unique time in our history where enrollment data analytics will be crucial to helping us continue to create and manage enrollment demand. I have been so impressed by her thoughtful approach to both her faith and the opportunities and challenges of this role.”

She gets energy thinking about the future of our school and how she can gather and analyze data that gives us a clear understanding of our prospective families.  Heidi’s love of Jesus shines through her work and her commitment to her church. Prior to joining DMC, Heidi gained valuable event and customer service experience working  six years at ITA Group as a Senior Event Accountant. She also gained marketing and communications experience during her years with the Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau in Austin, MN.   

Heidi and her husband John have two children at DMC, Kiley (‘29) and Ezra (‘36) and they attend Walnut Creek Church in Windsor Heights.
