Musical Theater and Drama

Each school year students perform a spring play or musical directed by a community theater professional. Students have whisked audiences away to the The Little Mermaid, James and the Giant Peach, and Mary Poppins. In addition to roles on stage, there are also opportunities for behind-the-scenes technical expertise and stage management.

Des Moines Christian Theatre invites you to experience the colorful and heartwarming world of Seussical The Musical! Filled with imagination, humor, and toe-tapping tunes, this beloved production brings together some of Dr. Seuss’s most iconic characters — including The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, and the Whos from Whoville — in a story celebrating friendship, courage, and the power of imagination.
