Getting Involved

Our volunteers enrich the student and family experiences at Des Moines Christian. Each day volunteers serve at school events, assist with classroom activities, and celebrate student accomplishments. Our many volunteers make DMC a special place to work and learn.

Junior High Track Meet
Our first Junior high home track meet will be hosted on Lion's Field April, 25, 2019. We estimate that 100 volunteers are needed to oversee track and field events.

High School Track Meet

All Lion fans are invited to support our teams and their families by serving in the concession stand.  We are blessed to have three concession kitchens ready to serve our fans in all seasons. We serve concessions at all Junior High and High School games, you can sign up as many times as you like each season.

Home Games
For every game volunteers assist as announcers, scorers, line judges, and/or as the "chain gang." If you want to be near the action, these volunteers generally have the best seats in the house.

Varsity Awards Night
We host two awards events each year to celebrate the accomplishments of our varsity teams. Parents are invited to attend with their athletes and volunteers make this night special by coordinating set-up, refreshments, and decorations.

Senior Recognition
At the last home varsity game for each team, we recognize our seniors. Volunteers help with signage and decorations.
